How cool was Madonna with LMFAO at Superbowl this week?

Not only her performance (Madonna is 53 and manages to sing, dance and jump around for like 14 minutes!) was breath-taking but the outfits, too. Madonna actually wore a Givenchy dress by genius Riccardo Tisci which looked simply fabulous.

Additionally, did you know that the headphones which LMFAO wore are worth 1 million $ (since it is encrusted with 114 carats of diamonds, sure...)?

On Wednesday night we went to a bar called BED Lounge. We will tell you a little bit more about that in another post. This is what Jana wore for the night. Shimmering silver Zara pants combined just with black pieces.

Here in Prague it's really cold and therefore it is rather hard to wear a dress or skirt for the night. A fancy pant is a really good alternative.

At the beginning of the show I thought "Oh, this could actually be something" but after the first three I was disappointed again. Black, grey and prints did pretty well but what was about those cycling shorts under dresses and as normal pants?! Really, no one looks good in them, not even the models with their skinny legs. Nevertheless I would add this collection to one of the better ones just because I liked the silk blouses.

Now they grow flowers and bushes on top of it plus arranged some benches for relaxing or sun bathing. How cool is this? - take a good book, a coffee to go, to make a rest in the warming sun.

Okay, before I start a little review on the show I would like to make something clear right-away: I was totally disappointed of the Berlin Fashion Week. Mostly in terms of the fashion as well as the organization. Of course we should be happy to have the chance to go there and see all that fashion hype. But it takes a little more to be thrilled and it definitely takes a lot more to reach an international level. Now you maybe say "Well, you haven't seen every show, so you can't tell", but I looked through every show on Vogue.de and Mercedes Benz. I can't say it was like this every season and if you have not been to others you maybe think it was great but somehow they sold themselves too short.
The only thing I really enjoyed was meeting all the lovely people around there. That's great of course but fashion week should also focus on the fashion and I totally could not focus on that. Just Michalsky was kind off capturing my interest.

Stephan Pelger decided to send his models onto the runway with curlers in their hair. Couldn't they finish the styling backstage? I would loved their hair open with curls. Creme, bright red and grey were the dominating colours with some silver details such as necklaces or earrings.
The show wasn't horrible but it wasn't good too.

It's certainly nothing new but Karl Lagerfeld can enchant me over and over again with his special pre- fall collections. I love the byzance collection, in fact now I am even more bedazzled by the Paris Bombay collection which is so exquisite, so precious, iridescent - it takes my breath away.

You may ask yourself why we have not reported about Berlin Fashion Week. At the moment we still have school and due to that fact we have to step back a little with the BFW reporting and fulfil our education duties. We will be around on a few shows on Saturday and that will be it for this season.

Well, often heard, often said- New York's skyscrapers are in fact huge and impressive and giant and breathtaking. In Berlin we maybe have Sony Center, but if you take this and add about 15 more floors you'll only have a tiny skyscraper for New York relations. However not only the houses are huge- the cars (limousines are really no big deal in New York- there are two options, either the limo is your own and your driver takes you to work every day, or it is a tourist attraction taxi that costs more than a usual one) and trucks are unbelievable for Europeans.

One of the most interesting and capturing sides of New York is definitely Brooklyn. We've heard much about it, Miranda lives there, it is the new Manhattan- in fact everything I heard is true. The district is calm, friendly, artistic and somehow provincial. You can meet actual people who are living there- whereas at Park Lane and Fifth Avenue you can only watch how unrealistic life of the hyper rich can be.

What is more I learned about one of the most romantic gestures ever- having your love locked forever with initials on a lock on brooklyn bridge- how sweet it is!

Yesterday we visited the Deutsche Oper Berlin and watched "Swan Lake". To be honest: it was more than amazing! Absolutely stunning. I think one of the post interpretations of the ballet we have ever seen. The costumes were flawless. Such a shame we couldn't go backstage and do some photos of them.

Since going to dance class at least three times a week it is quite a shock to do nothing over the holidays. I guess some of you know what I'm talking about.

Therefore I decided to make my own little training plan since I don't want to abstain the sweet treats around Christmas. Eat what you like and when you like just work-out! I really can't stand those people who sit around me and say "Oh I have to watch my wight" and "No, I can't eat that now". I say nothing about eating healthy, thats fine, but come on some chocolate or a piece of cake will not kill you. Besides that the body needs some sugar.

So, actually it is rather simple: do something for your body everyday. I go for a mix of jogging (with stretching afterwards) and swimming since both are good for stamina and muscular strength. At home I do some sit-ups for the belly. Don't over do it and have a good balance.

The city with its beautiful ancient buildings such as Semperoper and Zwinger. As a birthday present my friend gave to me a short-trip to Dresden- it was a wonderful day since in christmas time you have hardly enough time to spend a whole day with a good friend, just talk and stroll around all relaxed.

A couple of days ago the Christmas Revue "Berlin Illuminated" in Friedrichstadt palast was supposed to bring us into the right mood for christmas. In the end we would have preferred to be brought into the mood of the costume designer, but unfortunately neither the one nor the other happened. The show was just far too neon, far too rocky, with no real central theme but various acts reeled off without any connection. I cannot understand how Victoria's Secret can be so misinterpreted! Plus, what on earth does a rabbit do in a Christmas show?! What a shame.

Since we have birthday parties every weekend at the moment it is always a new challenge to find a cool but not to over-done make-up for the night out.

Of course we find our inspirations in magazines and on the internet. Here are some of the looks, we have tried and really liked (because it's not always just smoky eyes).

We found this one in the InStyle UK magazine from October 2011 (birthday edition btw.) Those pink lips are just pure perfection and the eyes kept simple. A really good idea to not over-do the eyes because in the clubs it is really warm and you smudge everything over your face. With the lips you can just do a quick brush up on the ladies toilet.

Our why not just go for some darker lips and eyes with shimmery gold dust?! This is one picture of a really stunning photo series with lovely Frida Gustavsson photographed by Andreas Öhlund for Elle Sweden. Found it on Fashion Gone Rogue (click in order to see the rest).

Since longing for the new Chanel nail-polishes for such a long time before they were even on sale, my Mum managed to get me all three.

I was actually surprised that Graphite was the one everybody seemed to want. My Mum got the last one in a big store in Berlin. And if you check through certain stores now, you can only find Quartz and Peridot in the shelves.

Something new and something old: just bought a pair of leather leggings for fall. One's black leather, the other is soft suede in a beige shade. They are perfect to be combined with big pullovers, cardigans or blouses. We'll shoot some new outfit pictures with them soon. The ankle boots are from last Season but I still like them.

On Ku'damm Berlin a new McDonald's Restaurant- wait, this is wrong, is it a diner? Café? Take Away?I cannot tell anymore- opened. This place does not look like a fast food restaurant at all, more like a pretty, romantic Café. It is equipped with couches, candle lights, chandeliers, book shelves...

Long since, McDonald's is not only fast food anymore, it is fit salads plus, slim and smiling Heidi Klum, or McCafé- a specialist in coffee. I seriously have to admit that the McDonald's merchandizing and commercialization department made a very good job of it. A metamorphosis from unhealthy fast food to healthful, fresh salads and freshly made fruit smoothies is definitely a huge step in corporate philosophy. Nevertheless this is the only way for a big company to survive: adapt to the changes of its market and consumption of the new generation. I prefer cheeseburgers anyway! Ha!

Today my Mum and I head out quite early in the morning in order to visit the exhibition "Gesichter der Renaissance" (Renaissance faces) at the Bode Museum.

I really wanted to see it because it is a collection of many famous paintings, coins and busts from the Renaissance. Lent from musuems all over the world they have set up this amazing collection and at the crowning end there was THE picture "Lady with an Ermine" by Leonardo da Vinci. For me it was the first time to see a work of him in real and I was totally blown away.

If you get the chance go and see it but be prepared for a lot of waiting. It took us 2 hours to get in.

For my outfit I have chosen some basic things. It was and still is raining in Berlin - a real autumn day. The shirt is from lovely Jason who send them to us. In the next days we will show you another one by JNAVA!
