Turkey and Fashion

vogue-turkey-issue1-march2010-1 Vogue Turkey The Launch Issue 02 vogue_turkey_the_launch_issue_03 AndreeaVogueTurkey1

I am back from a great holiday with my boyfriend in Turkey!
Honestly I was surprised by the stylishness of a lot of young turkish girls - without restraint
(because of religion). Turkish women in Istanbul or Cesme are really fashionable.
Although I cannot understand why there has to be so many fake stuff like bags and so on..
Nevertheless there is also a Turkish Vogue that was very interesting to have a look at!
One thing that was THE piece of the moment was- how I could observe- wide harem pants and long dresses with leather belts in hip height in light colors like beige.

Sight: Reichstag

Since Berlin is our favourite city I would like to show you the Reichstag building. I visited it for the first time last sunday and was pretty overwhelmed. Amazing view over Berlin and it looked so lovely when the sun was going down.

Off to Stockholm

On Thursday me and my friend Tara will be off to Stockholm for three days. I really can't wait to see the town, the people and their clothes. I so adore the blog by Caroline and the Scandinavia streetstyle.

Do you have some good tips what we should see and do?

Jette Joop Lounge

IMG_7361

I have actually never been to the Hotel de Rome but always wanted to see the amazing roof terrace everyone was talking and writing about in their fashion blogs and magazines. So when the invitation to the Jette Joop Lounge was in my post office box I was really excited and when I saw the “Where” line I freaked out: HOTEL DE ROME. This event was so added to our list. And then the day came and we visited one of the most famous hotels in Berlin. Right through the foyer was a big silver wall with a small red door – I thought of Alice in Wonderland right away! And behind that door was the Lounge. In the middle a big glass arbour and inside a lovely glittering dress. The whole room was decorated garden-like with birdcages, fountains and plants. Bur instead of birds there were handbags and shoes of the latest Jette Joop collection in those cages. All in all a really nice idea but after 5 minutes we already left that enchanted place because we simplye saw everything. And sadly we didn’t visit the roof terrace. So, Hotel de Rome, you will see us again.
