The Phantom of the Opera

I have to admit: I love visiting the theater and watching a ballet, play or musical. It just captures my heart. Most of all I love the musical "The Phantom of the Opera" (also as the movie version) and the continuation "Love Never Dies" which I both saw in London. The music is truly breath-taking and sometimes brings me close to tears. I just adore it in every single way.

Celebration: Bodi Bill & Kele Okereke in the WEEKEND

Last night we two and our lovely Sophie headed out to have a great girl's night in Berlin.
For a start we made our way to the Vapiano at Friedrichstraße, had a nice drink and relaxed in a lounge-like ambiance. After rethinking our plan we decided to go to the Puro at the Kudamm - terrible decision! (In first place we had acutally planed to go to the WEEKEND). As we reached the Europa Center we already saw a long queue and at the bouncer the people were asked if they are on the guest list. So we came back to our original plan and made our way to the WEEKEND at Alexanderplatz. And as we reached the main dance area on the 12th floor we realized that we did the right thing to go to this party. It was amazing! As we entered the room Bodi Bill was playing and shortly after that Kele Okereke gave a "concert" with Bloc Party. The best of all: we finally danced to electro music!
Conclusion: Puro is so off our list! To small, to much music we don't like and horrible bouncers! WEEKEND is and will always be our favourite club in Berlin!

Photographer of this colourful scenario is the well-know Miles Aldridge. He must have been inspired by a lot of funky and punky styles and gave singularity a chance. Looks bright, looks fun, looks Berlin! This years theme: "Express your Style". Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week from the 07th till the 10th of July in Berlin.
